The 17th Shanghai International Exhibition for Intercity and Urban Mass Transit, also known as Rail+Metro China 2024, is set to take place from June 5th to 7th, 2024, at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre (SNIEC). Since its inception in 2002, this event has been organized by the Council for the Promotion of International Trade Shanghai, alongside the Shanghai Shentong Metro Group Co., Ltd., China Local Railway Association, and with additional support from the Shanghai Transportation Trade Association. Spanning an impressive 27,000 square meters, the exhibition will include seven specialized thematic sections, over 10 concurrent high-level forums, and will feature participation from more than 250 esteemed companies.
Rail+Metro China 2024 embodies the concept of “internationalization and professional cooperation and exchange platform.” Established in 2002, it has marked significant milestones in the evolution of China’s railway and urban rail systems. Today, it stands as a premier platform for trade procurement, technological exchange, and corporate brand development in the rail transit sector, serving both the domestic Chinese market and the wider Asia-Pacific region. The exhibition will showcase top-notch products including rail vehicles, locomotive components, station facilities, power supplies, and electrical systems.
