2024 Xi’an Silk Road International Tourism Expo

The 2024 Xi’an Silk Road International Tourism Expo aims to create a premier tourism trading platform through market-oriented operations. This expo, hosted by the Shaanxi Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism, focuses on enhancing the demand for tourism market consumption, enriching high-quality tourism product offerings, and boosting the cultural and tourism industry as a productive force for high-quality development.
Since its inception in 2014, the Xi’an Silk Road Tourism Expo has successfully been held eight times. The 2023 edition saw record participation, with delegations from 27 countries and regions, 21 provinces, 28 prefecture-level cities, and over 800 cultural and tourism enterprises. The event attracted more than 9,800 exhibitors and 150,000 visitors. Significant achievements included the signing of 29 key cultural and tourism projects worth 14.348 billion yuan, with on-site transactions exceeding 60 million yuan and stimulating market consumption of over 120 million yuan.
