Hong Kong Toys, Baby Products, and Stationery Fairs to Kickstart 2025

The 51st HKTDC Hong Kong Toys & Games Fair, the 16th HKTDC Hong Kong Baby Products Fair, and the 23rd Hong Kong International Stationery & School Supplies Fair are set to bring fresh momentum to the global trade industry. Taking place from 6 to 9 January 2025 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, these fairs, organised by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) and Messe Frankfurt (HK) Ltd, will host over 2,500 exhibitors from 34 countries and regions.

An Industry Flagship Event

Sophia Chong, HKTDC Deputy Executive Director, emphasized the fairs’ significant role in fostering economic growth. “Themed New Play for All, the fairs are designed to create sourcing opportunities, inject vitality into the economy, and showcase over 380 famous toys and baby products brands,” she said.

With 200 buying missions from over 40 countries and regions, the events are expected to attract a diverse range of buyers and industry stakeholders.

Toys & Games Fair: A Hub for Innovation

Expanding Zones and Sustainable Innovation

The Hong Kong Toys & Games Fair, Asia’s flagship toy fair, will see expanded zones for Electronic & Remote Control Toys and Educational Toys & Games. The Green Toys zone returns to spotlight eco-friendly and sustainable products. Exhibitors will also use the “Green Leaf” label to guide buyers toward environmentally responsible toys.

A highlight this year is the inaugural ESG Pavilion, funded by the HKSAR Government. It will showcase toys incorporating Environment, Social, and Governance (ESG) elements, emphasizing the toy industry’s commitment to sustainable development.

Cutting-Edge Technology and Kidult World

The Smart Tech Toys & Games zone will feature toys integrating VR, AR, and MR technologies. Meanwhile, Kidult World will cater to adults with collectibles, magic props, and models, reflecting the growing trend of adult-targeted toys.

Record-Breaking Exhibitors at Baby Products Fair

The Hong Kong Baby Products Fair will host over 660 exhibitors, the most in its history. The popular ODM Strollers and Gear zone returns with over 80 exhibitors, facilitating easier sourcing for buyers. This year, the Zhejiang Zhili pavilion debuts, showcasing premium infant and children’s clothing, alongside established pavilions from Korea and Europe.

The Brand Name Gallery, featuring over 380 renowned brands, will provide buyers with access to cutting-edge designs and high-quality baby products.

Stationery & School Supplies Fair: Creativity Meets Functionality

Jointly organised with Messe Frankfurt (HK) Ltd, the Hong Kong International Stationery & School Supplies Fair will present a diverse range of products, from school supplies to creative art materials. Collaborations with regional industry associations enhance the fair’s appeal to global buyers.

Asian Toys & Games Forum: Shaping the Industry

The Asian Toys & Games Forum, themed Beyond Fun and Play: Fostering Social Responsibility in the Toy Industry, will discuss toys’ roles in therapy, healthcare, and socialization. Seminars will also address sustainability, toy safety, and inclusivity in the market, providing valuable insights to industry leaders.

EXHIBITION+: Bridging Physical and Digital

Under the EXHIBITION+ model, the fairs integrate physical exhibitions with the Click2Match smart business matching platform, allowing buyers to connect with exhibitors online from 30 December 2024 to 16 January 2025. Attendees can also use Scan2Match to bookmark exhibitors, access product information, and maintain connections post-event.
