The EE Awards Asia 2024, hosted by ASPENCORE, took center stage on December 5 at the GRAND HILAI TAIPEI. The fourth edition of this premier event celebrated excellence in the electronics industry, bringing together professionals, academics, and innovators across Asia to honor achievements that are shaping the future of electronics.
A Platform for Innovation and Collaboration
With the mission to “Shape the Future with the Electronics Industry; Transform the World with Engineers,” the event attracted over 400 submissions from nearly 170 companies worldwide. Competing across 36 categories, nominees showcased groundbreaking technologies and solutions in areas such as automotive electronics, AIoT, and electronic components.
Engaging nearly 10,000 voters from Taiwan and the Asia-Pacific region, the EE Awards Asia 2024 demonstrated strong community participation, reflecting the industry’s enthusiasm for innovation and collaboration.

Executive of the Year
- Frank Huang, Chairman of PSMC, was honored for transforming the company into a leading semiconductor foundry and pioneering its entry into the Indian market.
- Jordan Wu, CEO of Himax Technologies, earned recognition for steering the company to global leadership in automotive displays and AIoT.
Outstanding EE Professional Award
- Dr. Chenming Hu, the “Foreseer of Microelectronics,” revolutionized semiconductor innovation with his contributions to 3D FinFET technology.
- Dr. Kai-Sheng Chou, CEO of MEET International, advanced wireless communication and electronic testing equipment manufacturing, setting a benchmark in R&D excellence.
