Countdown to the 7th China International Import Expo (CIIE)

The 6th China International Import Expo (CIIE) in 2023 attracted numerous exhibitors, buyers and visitors.

Scheduled from November 5th to 10th, 2024, in Shanghai, this event promises to be a significant platform for international trade and cooperation.
Global Participation and Exhibitions
Over 50 countries and international organizations have confirmed their participation in this year’s Comprehensive Country Exhibition. New participants include Norway, Benin, Burundi, and UNICEF. This exhibition will highlight bilateral cooperation achievements, cultural exchanges, and tourism milestones, reflecting the event’s theme of fostering global connections.
The Enterprise & Business Exhibition will feature six major areas: Food and Agricultural Products, Automobiles, Technology Equipment, Consumer Goods, Medical Equipment and Healthcare Products, and Trade in Service. The Innovation Incubation Zone will continue to showcase cutting-edge developments. With over 360,000 square meters of booked exhibition space, the expo expects a significant increase in professional visitors.
Hongqiao International Economic Forum
The Hongqiao International Economic Forum will run concurrently with the expo, featuring the main forum and sub-forums under the theme “High-Standard Opening up for Universally Beneficial and Inclusive Economic Globalization.” The forum will include the launch of the “World Openness Report 2024” and an international seminar discussing its findings.
Supporting Events and Cultural Exchanges
Applications for supporting events, which opened on June 19, will close on August 31. These events aim to highlight the fruitful outcomes of friendly exchanges between China and other countries through various cultural performances and activities.
The “CIIE Stories” collection has also been launched globally. Previous participants are encouraged to share their experiences and insights through the official email [email protected] or via the CIIE website.
Anticipating a Landmark Event
The 7th CIIE is set to be a landmark event, fostering international trade and cultural exchange.
