The International Travel Expo (ITE) 2025, encompassing the 39th ITE (Leisure) and 20th ITE MICE, will take place from June 12-15, 2025, at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. This event is a pivotal marketing platform for regional and local trade visitors and premium FIT in Hong Kong and the Greater Bay Area.

ITE2024, which utilized five halls, set new records with 87% of its 515 exhibitors coming from abroad, including 20 new countries and regions. Hong Kong residents made 72.2 million departures in 2023, recovering to 76.8% of pre-pandemic levels. ITE2024 attracted 7,023 buyers and trade visitors and 63,027 public visitors, reflecting strong interest in travel recovery.

Expanding Reach and Engagement

The annual ITE is a proven marketing and selling platform, drawing regional and local trade visitors, and premium FITs from Hong Kong and other cities in the Greater Bay Area. These major markets are recovering strongly, making ITE2025 an ideal event for networking and business growth.

Business Matching sessions allowed sellers to quickly connect with buyers, facilitating meaningful interactions and potential business deals. The event also hosted a KOL Networking Session, industry forums, presentations, and numerous travel trade and public seminars, enriching the overall experience for participants.

Exhibitors reported positive outcomes, with some noting that the results exceeded expectations. The event's ability to attract high-quality visitors, including frequent travelers willing to spend more on travel, underscores its effectiveness as a marketing platform.

Strong Support and Commitment

Organized by TKS Exhibition Services Ltd, the annual ITE is strongly supported by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the People's Republic of China and the Hong Kong Tourism Board, among others. To boost recovery, raw space rental remains the same as in 2019, with early payment discounts available to exhibitors.
