From August 26 to September 12, the Canton Fair team organized events in Germany, Serbia, Poland, Switzerland, Spain, Italy, New Zealand, Australia, and Singapore. These initiatives aim to update global businesses on the latest developments and opportunities at the Canton Fair, one of the world’s largest trade exhibitions.

Extensive Global Outreach to Strengthen Trade Relations
The promotional activities spanned three major routes across Europe and the Asia-Pacific, attracting between 50 to 100 representatives from local business chambers, enterprises, and media at each event. This wide reach highlights the Canton Fair’s growing influence and the importance of its role in fostering international trade. Attendees were briefed on the improvements in the fair’s exhibition themes, exhibitor quality, and product diversity for the 136th edition.
At the Berlin event, Zhang Sihong, Deputy Secretary-General of the Canton Fair and Deputy Director General of the China Foreign Trade Centre, underscored the goal of building an all-year-round Canton Fair that remains at the forefront of market trends. Similarly, in Rome, Su Bin, also Deputy Secretary-General, highlighted the opportunities for Sino-Italian economic cooperation, further strengthening the trade relationship between China and Italy.
In Melbourne, Ma Fengmin, Finance Director of the China Foreign Trade Centre, invited local businesses to participate actively in the Canton Fair, showcasing new products and innovations.

Strategic Partnerships to Expand Market Reach
The promotional events also saw key strategic agreements signed with business chambers in various countries. In Frankfurt, discussions with the Frankfurt Chamber of Commerce culminated in a partnership agreement with the German-Asian Business Circle, enhancing promotional efforts. Similarly, in Milan, a partnership agreement with the Italy-China Chamber of Commerce was established, paving the way for greater market research and collaboration opportunities.
During the Melbourne promotion, the team conducted in-depth research, visiting the Melbourne Convention Centre and National Tiles, a major building material chain. This visit concluded with the signing of a “Trade Bridge” cooperation agreement with Airwallex, a global financial technology company, aiming to streamline trade processes between Chinese businesses and Australian enterprises.

Enhancing the Canton Fair’s Global Appeal
As the global economy becomes increasingly integrated, the 136th Canton Fair remains committed to offering enhanced services and expanding its online platform functionality. These improvements aim to attract higher-quality buyers and increase participation from global markets. The Canton Fair’s dedication to continuous optimization, both in on-site services and online offerings, ensures its role as a critical bridge linking Chinese businesses with the global marketplace.\n\n[/cs_content_seo][/cs_element_layout_column][/cs_element_layout_row][/cs_element_section][/cs_content]
