By June, cumulative production and sales of domestically produced NEVs had exceeded 30 million units, with Chinese brand passenger cars capturing more than 60% of the market. According to the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM), steady growth is expected to continue throughout the year, bolstered by favorable policies such as “old-for-new” incentives and initiatives promoting NEVs in rural areas.

Automotive World China 2024: A Comprehensive Platform
In response to these industry trends, Automotive World China 2024 (AWC) will be held from November 6-8, 2024, at the Shenzhen International Convention and Exhibition Center (Bao’an). AWC 2024 will feature a vast 50,000 square meter exhibition space, hosting manufacturers and solution providers from over 50 countries and regions. The exhibition will be divided into seven key sections, showcasing the latest advancements in automotive electronic components, new materials, software-defined vehicles, intelligent vehicles, core components for NEVs, and more. This comprehensive display aims to foster an open and collaborative automotive ecosystem, driving the development of market-competitive products.

Focus on Innovation and Collaboration
AWC 2024 will concentrate on core industry topics such as smart cockpits, electronic and electrical architecture innovation, and environmental, social, and governance (ESG) initiatives. Nearly 20 forum activities will feature prominent representatives from domestic and international original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), supply chain companies, first-tier suppliers, and government departments. These forums will provide deep analysis of industry trends, fostering innovation and collaboration across the sector.

Promoting Globalization and International Exchange
As globalization continues to influence the automotive industry, Automotive World China organizers have planned a series of activities to enhance international exchange. These include International Exchange Day, factory visits, and trade matchmaking events, aimed at providing overseas visitors with a comprehensive understanding of China’s automotive industry. These activities will promote international automotive trade and foster interaction between Chinese OEMs, parts suppliers, and solution providers.\n\n[/cs_content_seo][/cs_element_layout_column][/cs_element_layout_row][/cs_element_section][/cs_content]
