ALUMINIUM CHINA 2024 Concludes with Record Attendance and Global Impact

The 19th ALUMINIUM CHINA, Asia's premier aluminum industry trade show and B2B platform, concluded on July 5, 2024, at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre (SNIEC). The event, held alongside Copper China and Lightweight Asia 2024, showcased cutting-edge technology and sustainable solutions in the non-ferrous metals industry. This year's exhibition saw participation from over 600 exhibitors across 50,000 square meters, attracting more than 29,000 professional visitors, including over 2,400 international attendees, marking a new record for on-site attendance.

Ms. Lanny Zhang, Senior Vice President of RX Greater China, emphasized the importance of accelerating green, low-carbon development within the industry amidst a transitioning global economy. "ALUMINIUM CHINA has become a trusted platform for industry professionals worldwide, promoting international trade and advancing new industrialization," Zhang said. The 2024 expo, themed "Green Smart Aluminium, Connecting the World, Leading the Future," highlighted advancements in the aluminum processing industry through international exhibitions, business matchmaking, and specially designed factory tours for overseas attendees.

Accelerating Green, Low-Carbon Development

RX is dedicated to promoting sustainable development across various industries. ALUMINIUM CHINA 2024 featured zones showcasing non-ferrous materials for new energy vehicles and sustainable packaging innovations. Highlights included aluminum foil, cans, and carbon reduction in production and recycling processes.

Promoting International Exchange and Cooperation

The three co-located trade shows facilitated nearly 900 business matching sessions, connecting buyers and suppliers to foster industry exchanges and cooperation. The 2nd ALU Insight-International Aluminium Industry Development Forum and the 5th Automotive Lightweight Process Technology and Related Materials Innovation and Application Forum were key events that discussed industry trends, carbon border tariffs, and innovative technologies for high-quality development.

Looking ahead, RX plans to leverage its strengths as an international exhibition platform to further promote global interactions and cooperation in the non-ferrous metals industry.
