The Hong Kong Web3 Festival has announced the first confirmed speakers for its 2026 edition, scheduled for April 20-23 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. The event, co-hosted by Wanxiang Blockchain Labs and HashKey Group, is expected to attract up to 10,000 attendees, including Web3 leaders and practitioners, to discuss the digital future.
Speaker Lineup and Event Details
The initial speaker list includes Paul Chan Mo-po, Financial Secretary of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region government, and Xiao Feng, Chairman of China Wanxiang Holdings and HashKey Group. Other confirmed speakers are Duncan Chiu, a Legislative Council member from Hong Kong’s Technology & Innovation Constituency, Lily Liu, President of the Solana Foundation, Cynthia Wu, Founding Partner of Matrixport, Yat Siu, Co-Founder of Animoca Brands, and David Lee, Chairman of the Global Fintech Institute. The festival aims to feature up to 300 speakers covering all aspects of Web3 and crypto, with over 500 executives from traditional finance and real economies already registered.

The event has formed a strategic alliance with the Hong Kong Trade Development Council and secured support from global ecosystem partners, including title sponsor OKX Web3 and platinum sponsor Qtum. Since its launch in 2023, the Hong Kong Web3 Festival has grown into Asia’s largest crypto conference, with previous editions hosting over 350 exhibitors, 1,200 speakers, and 100,000 visitors. It leverages Hong Kong’s role as a global financial center to connect Mainland China’s market potential with worldwide Web3 advancements.
Early bird rates are available until December 31, with more partners and speakers to be announced. The festival focuses on fostering discussions around blockchain, Web3, and traditional finance, emphasizing security, compliance, and innovation in the industry.
