ASEAN Ceramics & ASEAN Stone Exhibition 2025

The ASEAN Ceramics and ASEAN Stone 2025 exhibitions are scheduled for October 15-17 at the IMPACT Exhibition and Convention Centre in Bangkok, Thailand. Organized by MMI Asia, a subsidiary of Messe München, in collaboration with Asian Exhibition Services, the event is free for industry professionals and aims to facilitate networking and showcase advancements in machinery, technology, and materials for the ceramics and natural stone sectors. This marks the first time the ASEAN Stone exhibition is held in Thailand, following its debut in Vietnam, reflecting growing regional demand.

Exhibition Scope and International Participation

The exhibitions are expected to attract over 200 exhibiting companies and 4,000 trade visitors, covering more than 4,000 square meters of space and facilitating over 400 buyer-seller connections. ASEAN Ceramics focuses on white-ware, heavy clay, and advanced ceramics, while ASEAN Stone highlights natural stone machinery and materials, endorsed by Italy’s Confindustria Marmomacchine and supported by Thailand’s Mining Council Industry. Key supporters include the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Building Materials Sub-Council, emphasizing China’s role in regional trade and investment.

Conference and Sustainability Focus

A concurrent conference titled ‘Pioneering a Sustainable & Innovative Future for Ceramics & Stone in Southeast Asia’ will feature over 30 panelists addressing topics such as environmental challenges, kiln furniture trends in Asia, and advanced polishing technologies. This aligns with broader efforts in China and ASEAN to promote sustainable industrial practices and innovation in manufacturing. Side events include factory tours by companies like Crown Ceramics and live pottery demonstrations showcasing Thailand’s cultural heritage, aimed at enhancing professional development and knowledge exchange.

Regional Collaboration and Economic Impact

The event is backed by multiple international and domestic associations, including the Federation of Thai Industries and the Vietnam Building Ceramic Association, highlighting cross-border cooperation in Southeast Asia’s ceramic and stone industries. Michael Wilton of MMI Asia noted the exhibitions’ role in providing a platform for collaboration and business growth, while Thai industry leaders emphasized positioning Thailand and ASEAN as hubs for ceramic manufacturing innovation. Additionally, the International Conference for Traditional and Advanced Ceramics, organized with local universities, will gather experts to discuss materials science, further supporting regional economic integration and trade.
