2024 Sands Shopping Carnival

The event featured 580 booths, with 325 dedicated to local SMEs, across nine exhibition zones, including Sands retailers, household products, and gourmet and wine. The carnival offered up to 90% discounts on international brands and showcased a selection of MOP 1 products each day.

Unprecedented Attendance and Engaging Activities
The carnival’s diverse attractions included the ICBC ePay Hanfu Styling Contest and the Bank of Communications Kids Talent Showdown, drawing participants from the Greater Bay Area. Other highlights included the BOC Smart Kids Little Master Chef Workshop and a food court featuring social enterprises. The event also featured a Macao Cultural and Creative zone with booths from 10 community organizations, providing an engaging experience for all ages.

Support for Local SMEs and Sustainable Practices
Supporting Macao’s economic revival, the event provided a platform for local SMEs and included environmental initiatives in line with the Sands ECO360 sustainability strategy. The Sands Cares Ambassadors engaged community groups in various activities, enhancing the event’s social impact. The carnival also included demonstrations on effective recycling methods by local NGO Green Future.

Strong Community and Government Support
Organized by Sands China Ltd. and co-organized by the Macao Chamber of Commerce, the carnival received backing from several government entities and sponsors, including ICBC (Macau) and Bank of Communications Co., Ltd. Macau Branch.
