On June 30, 2024, the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Link, one of the world's most complex cross-sea channel projects, was officially inaugurated. This crucial connection links Shenzhen, Zhongshan, and Guangzhou, significantly enhancing transportation and economic integration in the region.

Guozi Robotics' Role in Maintenance: Zhejiang Guozi Robotics Co., Ltd. played a pivotal role by deploying 14 intelligent inspection robots for the undersea tunnel's maintenance. These robots patrol over 20 kilometers of the tunnel, ensuring safety and efficiency through real-time monitoring, emergency response, and centralized control.

Key Highlights of the Robotics Solution:

  • Over 20 kilometers of robotic patrols in a single project.
  • Record-breaking 14 inspection robots used.
  • Speeds of up to 8 meters per second for swift emergency responses.
  • Advanced power supply technology for continuous high-speed operation.

Daily Operations: The robots are strategically placed every 1.2 kilometers within the tunnel, capable of reaching any point in the tunnel within three minutes during emergencies. They are equipped with gas detection, voice communication, and infrared recognition to maintain safety. The robots' activities are centrally managed through a network dispatching center, ensuring efficient and coordinated operations.

Looking Ahead: Guozi Robotics remains committed to advancing robotic technology to support large-scale infrastructure projects, aiming to contribute to more "super projects" in the future.
