Hubei Humanoid Robotics Industry Chain Matchmaking Conference

The future of robotics is unfolding in Hubei, and the world is taking notice. At the 3rd China International Supply Chain Expo (CISCE) in Beijing, the province cemented its role as a powerhouse in humanoid robotics, hosting a high-profile matchmaking conference that drew global leaders, innovators, and investors. With over 400 attendees—including ambassadors, tech experts, and industry executives—the event showcased Hubei’s thriving ecosystem and its ambitions to redefine automation.

A Hub for Cutting-Edge Robotics

Under the theme Synergizing Cutting-Edge Innovations, Empowering New Quality Productive Forces, the Hubei Humanoid Robotics Industry Chain Matchmaking Conference spotlighted the province’s rapid advancements in smart manufacturing, R&D, and real-world applications.

Yu Jianlong, Vice Chairman of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), emphasized Hubei’s strategic advantages: a robust innovation network, world-class research institutions, and a business-friendly policy environment. “Hubei’s exhibition zone at CISCE featured 22 enterprises displaying 80+ cutting-edge exhibits, including 20 fully integrated humanoid robots,” he noted. “This demonstrates the province’s end-to-end capabilities—from core components to industrial deployment.”

From Labs to Global Markets

The conference wasn’t just about displays—it was a springboard for collaboration. Hu Zhonghai, Director of CCPIT Hubei, framed humanoid robotics as a catalyst for industrial transformation, citing Hubei’s roadmap for milestones in one, three, and five years. With 325 Fortune Global 500 companies already operating in the province, the stage is set for accelerated growth.

Academic and industry leaders shared tangible breakthroughs. Zhao Xingwei, legal representative of JCBot and a professor at Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST), revealed how academic research has translated into market-ready solutions. “Our robots serve 10+ sectors, from firefighting to warehousing,” he said. “Now, we’re scaling R&D to unlock even higher-value applications.”

Meanwhile, Lou Kaiqi of Hubei Optics Valley Dongzhi Embodied Intelligence Technology unveiled a new humanoid model already excelling in retail, performances, and exhibitions—with plans to expand into elderly care and industrial automation.

Forging Alliances for the Future

The event culminated in strategic partnerships, as the Hubei Humanoid Robotics Industry Alliance inked deals with three major collaborators:

  • Zhejiang Robot Industry Association
  • Humanoid Robotics Innovation Center
  • Zhongguancun Rongzhi Specialized Robotics Alliance

These agreements will drive joint R&D, talent exchange, and global market expansion, reinforcing Hubei’s vision of a connected, collaborative robotics ecosystem.

As CISCE 2025 closes, one message is clear: Hubei isn’t just participating in the robotics revolution—it’s leading it. With unmatched resources, policy support, and international alliances, the province is poised to shape the next era of intelligent automation.
