Huawei released the National One-Stop Public Services Solution with partners

During GITEX Global 2024, Huawei hosted a roundtable titled “Build City Intelligent Twins to Accelerate City Digital Transformation,” gathering government experts and partners from China, the Middle East, Asia Pacific, and Africa to discuss the future of smart cities and government digitalization. The event showcased Huawei’s latest innovations in digital infrastructure for city governance.

City Intelligent Twins Architecture for Smart City Transformation

At the Huawei Cloud UAE Summit, Hank Chen, R&D President of Government Public Services Digitalization BU at Huawei, introduced the “City Intelligent Twins Architecture”—a framework transforming urban management through seamless digital integration. This architecture leverages city awareness to map the physical world digitally, with the city cloud functioning as the “brain,” powered by cloud-native and AI algorithms to support intelligent city services. A robust big data system maximizes data utility, enabling efficient city governance and public service delivery. Smart city applications act as the “limbs,” facilitating comprehensive public services and governance.

With global partnerships, Huawei has deployed this architecture in over 200 cities across 40+ countries, accelerating urban digital transformation and enhancing governance efficiency worldwide.

Smart City Innovation: Global Roundtable Insights

The Global Smart City Innovation Roundtable served as a platform for Huawei and partners to exchange insights on smart city development from projects around the world. Wang Bin, President of Marketing & Solution Sales at Huawei’s Government Public Services Digitalization BU, shared China’s smart city journey—from informatization to digitalization, now progressing to intelligence. He emphasized that China’s advancements in infrastructure, intelligent center capabilities, and application development offer a model for cities aiming to increase efficiency through smart technology.

Launch of National One-Stop Public Services Solution and National Smart City Solution

Huawei introduced two pivotal solutions in collaboration with partners to enhance public service delivery and urban governance:

  • National One-Stop Public Services Solution: Developed with Audaque, Linewell, and Bamboocloud, this solution streamlines public services using digital technologies.
  • National Smart City Solution: Created with Freedo Technology, Isoftstone Smart Technology, and RayChange Technology, this solution enhances smart infrastructure and governance.

These solutions are set to support cities worldwide in optimizing public services and adopting forward-looking smart city strategies.

Global Reach and Future Impact

Huawei’s smart city initiatives, anchored by the City Intelligent Twins Architecture, are shaping the future of urban governance and public services in over 200 cities globally. As more urban areas adopt these advanced solutions, Huawei’s influence in digital transformation grows, opening new possibilities for innovation in urban management and public service delivery.
